Synopsis

​

Hermenegildo is a very particular man, he lives in a world defined by even numbers, his obsession. One day a mysterious lady interferes with his routine, is it love? He does not know.

Insights

​

This short film was shot during the second year of film school, and ended up being a particularly enojyable experience. I wanted to experiment with in writing a bizarre character which gave life to Hermenegildo who has a very specific characteristic, he is obsessed with even numbers. 

​

It was very rewarding to see how the team came together to transmit the vision I had for this short film. There were clear mise-en-scene references, from authors such as Wes Anderson and Jean Pierre Jeunet, which helped the team unify their thoughts and make each come up with a very interesting proposal in their field.

The short film has been screened as part of different cultural programmes in San José. Including screenings from the national film center (Centro de Cine)
